Who has the rights to my files once the project is over?
You do. Unlike many firms, ChimpTribe does not hold back any ownership or rights to your design files. At the conclusion of your project, in addition to your deliverables, we are happy to provide you with all your source files.
We never charge ongoing licensing fees for your work.
Can ChimpTribe handle my printing?
No. ChimpTribe is not a printer, but we can recommend printers.
How does ChimpTribe charge for graphic design work?
Project Based Billing. The vast majority of our billing is project based. We will discuss the details of your project and provide a proposal (quote) so you know exactly what the work will cost prior to us getting started. We then bill monthly over the course of the design project.
How long does a graphic design project take?
It depends. Small projects can take as little as a few days. Larger graphic design projects can span months. It really just depends on the scope of the work.
ChimpTribe provides a rough timeline as part of our proposals. Once a proposal is accepted, we work up a detailed timeline that includes weekly deliveries, client feedback dates and an ‘in-hands’ deadline.
Can you provide photography and copywriting?
Photography. Most of our clients use some mix of stock and original photography in their projects. Fortunately, the quality of stock photography has improved dramatically over the last decade. Stock photography is a major cost savings over hiring a professional photographer.
What file formats do I receive at the end of my project?
Exactly what you need. We work in all industry standard software. We’re able to output most projects in a variety of formats. Additionally, we always discuss what file formats you’ll need prior to starting your project.
